Philly food is so much more than cheesesteaks. Let us show you.

About

chez-wongPhiladelphia’s food scene keeps growing and improving, and I’ve loved seeing every new restaurant and bar, chef and brewer to come to the city over the last number of years.  I’ve only lived in Philadelphia since 2007, but in short amount of time I have become intensely proud of Philadelphia’s food scene and have tried to promote it as much as I can to anyone who will listen.

Since I’ve enjoyed being part of the scene for a few years with my other blog In Search of Beer, it made sense to give myself an outlet for my passion for food.  And while I am focused on Philadelphia, my next travels are never far off, so I’ll be featuring those here as well.  Some of my favorite things include sandwiches of all shapes and sizes, any kind of Asian food, and anything spicy.

I’m Ryan Hudak, the head writer, and I also run In Search of Beer.  I’ve written for local publications like Drink Philly, Philly Beer Scene, and The Town Dish.  I’ve also written for the nationally-distributed Beer Advocate Magazine.
