Philly food is so much more than cheesesteaks. Let us show you.
While many details are still yet to be released, December is living up to its “most wonderful time of the year” status with the first announcement of 2016’s Brewer’s Plate, the 12th incarnation of the annual food and beer festival. The best food and beer event in the area will once again take place in the Kimmel Center on Sunday, March 13.
Tickets are once again being sold in tiers, with the first 350 general admission tickets going for $64 and the next 350 going for $74. VIP tickets, which will get you an extra hour inside the event and a special VIP-only glass, will go for $89 for the first 175 tickets and $99 for the last 175. New for 2016 will be a VIP Plus package for $125, and only 150 of which will be available. VIP Plus will take place in the Hamilton Garden of the Kimmel Center and will include an intimate talk from Victory Brewing’s Bill Covaleski and a surprise guest brewer an hour before the VIP hour. The VIP Plus access will also include exclusive beers and food pairings from the rooftop garden.
While none of the participants have been announced, there is no question that the food and beer will be top-notch, as it is every year. Local fooderies will deliver the goods to pair with beer, cider, or wine, all from the Mid-Atlantic region and all to benefit Fair Food as their largest fundraiser of the year.
Be sure to get your early bird tickets here before they sell out, and remember to keep checking back at EatYourPHL or at brewersplate.com to get up-to-date information on who will be attending and what they will be bringing. We hope to see you there!
