Philly food is so much more than cheesesteaks. Let us show you.
The local craft food and drink vendor showcase known as Noshhh hasn’t been around long—in fact, they’ll be holding only their second incarnation of the event on Friday—but they are growing like wildfire. From a packed house at United By Blue a few months ago to the wide-open Impact Hub Philly, which has multiple floors and a rooftop deck, from a handful of food and drink vendors to almost 20 this time around, it is clear the event was a hit in its first go-round.
The speakeasy-style event will include live jazz from Ensemble Novo this time, and EverydayEros Studio will be in attendance with a photobooth and props. And if that isn’t enough entertainment for you, Home Brewed Events and the Dashing Rogue will be on hand to talk about homebrewing and beer and food pairing throughout the evening. But, if you’re only interested in the food and drink, you’re still in luck.
Drinks will come in the form of handcrafted cocktails from Spirit Forward and Bluecoat American Dry Gin. There will also be some breweries on hand, including 2nd Story Brewing Co., Conshohocken Brewing, and Evil Genius Beer. If neither of those strike your fancy, Frecon Farms will also be sampling their ciders at the event.
As far as food goes, Tria will be on hand with a sampling of gourmet cheeses to promote the opening of their fourth location in Fitler Square. There will also be healthy food from Pure Fare and Agno Grill, savory selections from Wokworks and sausage from Hocks N Coqs, and snacks from Hot Chicks Hummus and Saint Brian’s Premium BBQ. Spruce Hill Preserves will once again be sampling their jams, and there will be dessert offerings from Chocamo Cookie Cups, The Beese Knees, Affinity Baking, MonkeyBread Madness, and Cynful Bliss. United By Blue will also be on hand with coffee if you need a pick-me-up, and as a Philly-based non-profit, they will also receive a portion of the proceeds from the event.
While the excitement of trying to guess where the event will be has passed, there is still time to get tickets before Friday night. They are $25 in advance or $30 at the door, so be sure to get them before you go. The last Noshhh was an excellent time, and this one looks to be bigger and better. And now that you know where it is, you have no excuses. We hope to see you there.
